Hi! We're Steve and Katrina and as Colettesilk we offer 100% woven silk scarves designed and printed with love in the UK. Our beautiful and colourful graphic designs have a myriad of possibilities to wear, display and we know that a few twilly’s are now adorning some precious furry friends as well.

Our name was inspired by the French author Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette (the author of Gigi), who wrote

"You will do foolish things, but do them with enthusiasm....." which motivated us to launch our silk scarf collection.

We pride ourselves in offering individual designs to reflect fashion trends and only produce small quantities to maintain exclusivity. Therefore our designs are seasonally changing and even if you don't see anything you like today, please keep calling back to see something new that you will love.

All our designs are lovingly created by Katrina here in the heart of Yorkshire and produced in the UK to ensure continuing quality. Our scarves are printed on 100% silk twill and individually hand finished. Inspired by Minimalist artists such as Frank Stella, Op Art and Art Deco our scarves offer something a little different. Created in a colour pallet to co-ordinate with current season trends we hope to have something to style everyone's wardrobe. And as season's fashion colours change, our range will also change so all our scarves are made in very limited quantities. We hope you love our designs as much as we do, but if there's else anything you'd like to see, or other products such as silk cushion covers, pocket squares or other items please let us know. We have plans in the future to possibly expand the range to cruise wear, beach wear and lounge wear. A little bit of history behind Colettesilk.

Katrina has a background in clothing and textiles design supplying many top Retail and prestigious Corporate Clients from Hotel Chains to major UK Airports. Her passion for textiles led to the initial idea of creating a range based on patterns and artists she loves. Steve comes from a career in Retail Fashion Management so it was only fitting that they combine talents and passions to create this exciting brand. A scarf can not only brighten up and truly personalise an outfit but also show off the owners individuality when used as wall art. Colettesilk has produced a range that can be utilised in very many ways, limited only by your imagination!. All our scarves are printed in the UK using eco friendly dyeing techniques and all large scarves feature hand rolled and stitched edge on quality silk twill fabrics. These are soft to touch, warm and beautiful to wear.
